After the top is cut to spec, sand and apply sanding sealer. Then take the two pieces and sand the bottoms smooth on a belt sander
Note that the top’s outer tendon (the spigot) has been sanded off completely...no chuck tool marks!
The last thing to do is applying finish. I use the Beall buffing system...a three step process that puts an un-beatable shine on your stuff. |
